Leadership
Carmen Figueroa Collazo, CCIM
Executive Director
Carmen is a commercial real estate executive with a Puerto Rico real estate license since 2009. She earned CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2017. She joined Kingbird Property Management in 2018 to strengthen its team and work in diverse initiatives. In a career that began as a mechanical engineer, Carmen developed her love for commercial real estate after seeing the interconnectedness of Siemens's (her former employer) diverse array of facilities throughout Europe and other markets. She has ample experience representing landlords and tenants as well as leading special projects on behalf of her customers. Carmen acts as a team connector and a facilitator who turns ideas into viable projects through methodical financial analysis and negotiations that consider all stakeholders while championing her clients' interests. She has a Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and a Master (MA) in International Business from Schiller International University (Heidelberg, Germany).
Marcela Taboada Marabotto
Finance Director
Marcela is a Senior Financial Executive with extensive expertise in finance and accounting, including work with “Big Four” accounting firms. During her latest Senior Finance Executive position at Cisneros Ventures, she worked with mergers and acquisitions for several motorsports-related businesses and was key in organizing and structuring their investment portfolio tax strategy. Additionally, Marcela has been Finance Director for the Grupo Ferré Rangel holding, and for their real estate and customer engagement (Linkactiv) divisions. Prior to that, Marcela was a Financial Executive for the startup team of AOL Latin America, first in Argentina and then in Puerto Rico. Marcela brings a wealth of experience that spans 25 years across financial, operational, and deal-making roles in Argentina, Puerto Rico and the United States. She has an Accounting degree from the University of Buenos Aires, is a licensed CPA in Argentina, and holds a Master's in International Business from L'École des Ponts et Chaussées in France, and the University of Belgrano in Argentina.
